creating a link from One drive to a sharepoint list

I am building a recruitment platform, and I created an MS Form that collects the candidates' information and populates the information on a SharePoint list. I created a OneDrive folder that requests files, which allows the candidates to upload their cvs. I need to link the uploaded CV that is saved under a candidate's name and surname to the candidate's details in the SharePoint list. Is the below correct because the flow keeps failing

When file created

Get metadata

Create Share Link

Get items (filter by name)

Update item (write link)

Hi, hope you are doing well.

Could you please elaborate on what error are you getting when you run the flow?

Also, quick suggestion: Why haven't you used a SharePoint document library instead of OneDrive to store the CVs? OneDrive is user specific, and there is always one thing or another when it comes to automating a process to share the files. Having a SharePoint document library instead would work wonders as all the users who would have access to the list would also have access to the document library.

    Hi  ,

Thank you for the response. So this is for external applicants. I havent used the Sharepoint document library because I dont want external parties accessing my sharepoint and I stand to be corrected,if I create a link to a sharepoint document library for cvs to be uploaded directly then wouldnt external applicants be able to view other candidates cvs and that would be a POPI contravenetion.

Ive managed to get the flow working but the issue now is that is is attaching the link randomly. I need to add a compose action so it can filter the name and surname and match it to the correct applicant. The other option would be to create a unique application id and the link to upload is generated with the unique id and emailed to the candidate to upload their cv directly via the unique link.

Im learning as I go along so I am open to suggestions on the best and cleanest way to do this.
