Hello,

I am fairly new to power automate and working on some flows. I am a bit confused on licensing for the premium connectors, but I don't see any "Per User" plan on my list of subscriptions the most I see is Power Automate for Office 356 and Power Automate Free on an E3 plan. I see the premium connectors when I am building my flows I was just curious would these connectors be usable or even viewable if I did not have the right license to use them? If they would be viewable would they even run properly if I didn't have the "Per User" plan listed on my subscription list? I just want to make sure that I am not running these connectors not knowing it will charge per run or something of the sort.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Power Automate which comes along with Office 365/MS E3 license are know as seeded license.

You can use it, but with some limitations. Like you cannot use premium connector, Api limit per flow every 5 mins will be less compare to power automate premium license and so on.

If you don't have premium license then also premium connector will be visible and you can use it for few days until your trial expires for the premium connectors , because MS wants you to use those connector and buy it from them.

Premium connector will work properly during trial period and after that your flow will start throwing error.

Your account will not be charge by MS by using those premium connector unless you go and buy from MS and add it.

So don't worry, go ahead and use those premium connector for learning purpose, but don't use it for business use unless you buy it.

    Thanks

    Vivek Pande

Hi @Anonymous premium connectors are viewable even if you don't have premium licenses (e.g per user plan). However when you try to save or run a Flow that has premium connectors, it will show error saying that  you need a proper license to run it.
