Hello All,

I am facing with executing flows after the Power Automate desktop migration from V2 to V3.

Every time I run my existing fows, it shows the error as "Microsoft power automate started debugging this browser".

Could you please assist me as to how to run V2 existing flows in V3.

Please help.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

You need a new Web extension of Power Automate: So try deleting the current web extension and downloading the proper one. Read more upon it Here

You are probably using the Legacy extension now.

    Hi,

I have already downloaded Microsoft Power Automate 2.29.0.11 extension from Microsoft Edge. Attaching the screenshot for your reference.

However, it still shows the same issue.

Please suggest any other method to resolve the issue.

    Hmm ok,

Are you sure it is an error and not just a message?

The link i gave you stated:

    "

If you upgrade to Power Automate for desktop v2.27 or later and use the new browser extension, the Run JavaScript function on web page action will be functional with the use of its debugger capability.

The action won't be impacted if you use the legacy browser extension and Power Automate for desktop v2.26 or earlier.

When the action runs, you'll see a "Microsoft Power Automate" started debugging this browser message with no real effect on the execution."

Yes, because after the message "Microsoft Power Automate started debugging this browser", error starts reflecting in the flow in Power automate Desktop as UI element not found.

I am not sure what I am suppose to do. Kindly assist.

I do not think your errors are related to the debugging message - it's just message alerting user that extension is using that feature.

What is th actual issue you are getting? What does not work?

I think, I understand now what is the issue.

I have downloaded the extensions (please refer the screenshots). When i run the flow it takes me to the website and shows the message as "Microsoft Power Automate DEV started debugging this browser".

After that I get the error in my flow as "Element with selector not found", so the issue here is with the "Run JavaScript function on webpage".

So, do you know how to make javaScript work on the webpage.

Do I need to some other extensions as well in order to make the JavaScript function work.

    Kindly suggest.

    Hi @Mj_1992

    1. Delete older extensions, keep the latest one only to rule out any conflicts. On your screenshot you have DEV extension in addition to the prod one.

    2. On what action you get the"Element with selector not found" error?
I suspect you get this not on"run JS.." action, but on some other before, are you?

Can you check exact location in the error log?
