Hi Friends,

I am trying to automate an application where it should take inputs from an excel file and then paste it to the application. I am able to fetch the data from excel using "Read from excel worksheet" but after it reads i am not sure how to send this as a input to the application. Please can you let me know if its possible to do this in power automate or any other application similar to power automate which can accomplish this.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello @Anonymous !

You should be able to view that action 'Read from excel worksheet' generates a variable as output. This variable can be used as input for a following action into the flow as the 'Populate text field in window'.

In this example, Power Automate Desktop reads from an excel all available cells, stores them in a variable, ExcelData, of Datatable type. This is used as input in the next action, for populating a text field in an app, where I have defined that I want to use the value of the first column and second row of the excel.
