Hi all,

I am a beginner with Power Automate and may require some help from communities.

I tried to do an access violation log collection from my Firewall and keep it as an Excel file.

I have set the flows as follows:

Current flow is working well, but the excel file will be too heavy as the logs will be sent on hourly basis. The teams chat file also takes longer time to load due to increasing logs has been sent to the channel.

Is there a method to automatically delete rows on the excel file and the Teams chat file using Power Automate?

I want to keep the logs on the excel for 7 days.

Thank you very much!

    Hi @haziqharun ,

You could add a CreateDate column in Excel and update this field with the current date when adding a row. Then create a daily-running flow to list all rows in the Excel sheet, filter out records created seven days ago, and delete them one by one.

    Best Regards,

    Bof

    Hi @v-bofeng-msft ,

I will try with the Excel solutions. However, is there any solution to delete the Teams Chat file also? The channel also will take a long time to load, and the size will keep increasing. Is there any method to keep the chat files for a certain period of time? Thank you!
