Updating Custom Connector Description

So I discovered an apparent issue when it comes to exporting PA solutions that have PA custom connectors included. The custom connector allows a long description field, but if this is being added to the solution, an error is raised about the description field containing more than 1,000 characters. To resolve this, I edited the custom connector's description field. Totally removing all contents from it. After I updated the custom connector I drilled into it and the description field appears to be empty. But the higher-level view still shows the long description. I will include screen shots below.

Does it take a certain amount of time for any caching to be cleared? I still can't add this custom connector to the solution, due to it still being seen with the long description.

These are 2 great points... The first one to me is a bug, as I thought it was set for longer and before was blocked from being more (meaning you shouldn't get that error)

As for #2, Apologies, but do you mean after you Published All Customizations, exported it as a managed solution and re-imported it, the Longer one is still there?

I just want to make sure where/what I am looking at, as no, it shouldnt cache it and you still see it (anywhere), but... saying that there is a cache so its possible.

It's also possible it didn't fully update. Its hard to say without being able to debug it properly.

If these suggestions help resolve your issue, Please consider Marking the answer as such and also maybe a like.

    Thank you!
    Sincerely, Michael Gernaey

I checked this today, and the long description still appears for the custom connector. From The Custom Connectors tab in make.powerautomate.com. But when I drill into it, the description field is totally blank, as I modifed it and hit the Apply button. As for the solution scenario, I'd like to add this custom connector to the solution. But still cannot, since the description field is still being observed as being over 1,000 characters.

Find it odd or buggy that the Power Automate allows me to create a description field for a custom connector with an invalid description field length. Since apparently it cannot be pulled into the solution. Also find it odd or buggy that when I drill into the custom connector and blank out the description field, applying that change doesn't really change anything based on what I see.

I figured out the bug. You can't just blank out the description for a custom connector. You have to put some text in there. Just less than 1,000 characters. Once I did that, the change immediately appeared. Definitely a bug.
