Hi everyone,
I had created a custom approval using Power Automate wherein I had used Start & Wait approval action, so during my testing the flow worked fine. The flow flow is as follows:

So when I handed to the testing team there they faced issue while performing the action (Approve or Reject)

    Hi,

Do you send the approval request to a shared mailbox? If yes, try to send it to a usergroup or directly to an user.

    Hi ran_dale,
I thought so as in one of the questions I did see this possibility. Can you just tell the steps on how to identify whether an email is from shared mail box or not?.

    Regards,
    Sidhant.

    Hi @sidhant_02

The sender will always be sent from flow-noreply@microsoft.com
The receiver you specify in the step. For example in this step:
You can set n e-mail-addresses (personal or groups). You can also set shared mailbox, but then you will get the mentioned error.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi ran_dale,
Yup, so after your suggestion and based on a reply that I came across similar issue (that pointed to shared account), I did ask the testing team to use an individual account in place of shared account and then the flow had no issues.

Good that you were able to verify this. This means that you will have to create M365 groups for the current use case until Microsoft solves the problem in another way.
Please mark the post solved and my answer as a solution.
    Thank you
