HI Team,

Flow runs successfully but Condition expression shows False and rest steps get skipped.

Please find the below flow, however when I run the test, it completed Successfully, but in Condition, its Expression result shows False, and rest step got skipped.

The condition is if the Reporting month equal to Last reporting month, then it will Copy the last month rows.

Please assist.

Regards,
Abhishek Goel

You can print both data in compose and check what is the difference. You can convert both in string and then compare.

    Hi Abhishek,

Please show more of your flow, I can't see the true/false part of your condition. However, I will assume what your problem is and try to help anyway,

Just because your condition result is false does not mean your Power Automate run has resulted in a failure. As long as there is not an error or a timeout, your flow will execute all the way through the appropriate path and the flow run will have the status 'succeeded'.

If you want your flow to have a different status based on your condition, you should add a 'terminate' step to your condition, forcing it to terminate with a status such as 'cancelled' or 'terminated'.

I would assume the rest of your steps skipped because your had no actions in the 'False' section of your flow and so it completed it's logical path.
