Audit history deletion using unbound action 'DeleteRecordChangeHistory'

We are deleting records from CRM to reduce space. After deletion the log file size is increasing because of audit history records. We tried to delete audit history records using unbound action in power automate flow, it ran successfully but it does not delete any records(see below screenshot). We also tried using delete action of Microsoft Dataverse but it is giving error as -The 'Delete' method does not support entities of type 'audit'.

Does anyone know why we cannot delete audit history records using flow?

Thank you for your response.

Yeah, there should be some automatic way for deleting audit history records. As we can delete those records manually then we should also do it through flows and console app.

Please let us know whenever you find any way of doing this.

Hello, @PaulAm!

I'm currently investigating if there's a way of deleting all the audit logs using Power Automate. So far, it seems to be an impossible tasks, or rather an inefficient one. I've seen some blogs that explain how to do this manually Deleting Audit Log in Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Tips and Tricks (inogic.com) but perhaps there's a way of doing this automatically. I'll continue doing some research.
