I set the variable `id_data` to a path `C:\Users\WKLI\Documents\data100\d0%adj_no%.xlsm`, and used "Move mouse over image" to the input box in the window. Then I used Sendkey to paste `%id_data%`, but I encountered an error (as shown in the image). I suspect it might be related to the Chinese input method setting in Windows. I tried setting it to English input method, and the path was pasted correctly in the PAD process.

Since I'm using a loop to process N independent Excel files, I don't know which one will display the Chinese input method and which will display the English input method. What methods can I use to solve this bug?

PS: Windows 11 Pro and Excel 2021 are both in Chinese.

Hi there!

Here's what I might right in lieu of working through the dynamic content there. I would try getting the files in a folder, then you are just referring to the id of the file and you bypass the difficult send key challenges here.

Finally, I asked the AI, and it suggested pasting the variable path into the clipboard and then pressing Ctrl+V to replace the input string, which effectively avoided the influence of Chinese input methods.
