I'm fairly new to the Process Miner tool, I'm trying to use it to analyze a MS Flow. This flow is being heavily throttled by Microsoft....over 100k times a day,3.5million actions within 6 hours. I have a ticket open with MS but nothing yet.
Using process minor I was able to see that there was an error on one of the actions (although the flow never failed), this error threw 4-5k errors, using this data, I was able to resolve that error but the throttling continued.
I originally captured data on the flow by going to the flow details page and selecting "Improve your flow"
this worked and captured ~1 months worth of data. When i try to refresh the data, it reports that it was updated but i cant see any data past the initial pull. I'm not sure if this tool will help us narrow down the action causing the throttling, but the data is showing what I assuming is a lot of calls when it should happen every 4 hours.
@kilaj1 , thanks for sharing another scenario you saw an issue on. We Product group created a work item to investigate.
Thanks for the reply.
Yes that's the link I've used to try and refresh the data. I will have to look into the licensing, however, there seems to be another problem with it.
I deleted the Process thinking that creating a new one who clean things up but now it won't even pull/run at all.
Hey @kilaj1 ,
You should be able to refresh the data from the analytics page use the refresh button see below:
Is this what you used to refresh the data?
In terms of the scope of the data, the built-in process mining for cloud flow runs only work on top of the last month of data, so when you refresh, you'll always have the last month of cloud flow run history. It is possible to build a process with Process Mining that has more data retention but will require you to leverage the premium capabilities available with the Power Automate premium license.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Wassim
@kilaj1 , thanks for a great point. This is something the Product group must look at. We are on it.
