Problem with an embedded image in Outlook email body in Power Automate Desktop

Hi,

I've been trying to follow some guidance provided by @VJR regarding embedded images in Outlook email body but so far have not managed to reproduce. Steps and flow content below, if anyone is able to spot the error and help me understand where I've gone wrong that'd be great.

Thanks:

    Hi Ben,

Everything looks fine at least from the screenshots.

Is your C:\ image file from a locally mapped folder of OneDrive by any chance?

There is a zip file attached to my cookbook post. Can you create a fresh new flow and simply paste the code from that file into a blank new PAD editor and see how it goes.

Make sure to change the image file path and all the Outlook parameters.

And with the file/path as a variable also works

    Hi,

I've attempted to copy and paste the contents of the zip file and received the same outcome unfortunately.

The files used throughout this flow are copies of files that where in a locally mapped OneDrive but I've copied these to the local disk. It feels to me as though this may be a permissions based issue as the logic in the flow seems perfect. Any ideas would be great!

    Thanks

    Hi,

I had the same issue embedding images into the body of an outlook email.

You can try converting the image file to Base64 and using this as source in the body.

    This method works for me.

    Hi,

I've gone through the same steps as you, and for me, everything is working well. I can see all the images in the email when I receive it. However, some of the other recipients are experiencing an issue. Any suggestions on how I can resolve this?
