I need some clarification regarding Power Automate licensing.
I have a Microsoft 365 Business Premium account and have created a few cloud flows that trigger when changes are made to a Microsoft List and then send email notifications using standard connectors (SharePoint and Outlook).
Based on Microsoft’s documentation, users on free plans or Microsoft 365 plans should be able to use standard connectors without any issues. Cloud flows also run under the license of the flow owner, so this should be fine as well.
According to Microsoft’s current documentation, Microsoft 365 Business Premium falls under the category “Microsoft 365 apps with Power Platform access,” which provides 6,000 API requests per user per 24 hours.
I want to confirm whether this interpretation is correct.
My questions are:
- Does Microsoft 365 Business Premium officially fall under the “Microsoft 365 apps with Power Platform access” category?
- If so, is the API request limit indeed 6,000 requests per user per 24 hours?
- Is it fully compliant to run these standard‑connector flows under this license without requiring any Power Automate Premium licenses?
Any confirmation or extra details would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
