How to automatically retrieve comments on Planner tasks now that they have moved to 'Task Chat'

I had a power automate flow which accessed group conversation threads to get planner comments and then parsed these comments to pick out specific terms.

Planner has now changed such that task comments sit within a teams-like 'task chat' rather than being sent as posts in a group conversation thread and so I can no longer access new comments in power automate.

Is there going to be a change to power automate to allow access to the task chat? Or any other way around this?

At the moment (As per my knowledge ):

there is no native Power Automate support for the new Planner Task Chat comments.

The old approach worked because comments were stored in Microsoft 365 Group conversations. The new Task Chat system uses a Teams-style chat architecture

instead, and Microsoft has not yet provided equivalent Power Automate triggers/actions.

The best current workaround is:

accessing the Task Chat through Microsoft Graph beta APIs using HTTP requests in Power Automate.

it seems there is a gap and there's no clean workaround right now.
The new Task Chat uses a Teams chat architecture and Microsoft has not exposed it through the Planner Graph API or the Power Automate connector. The old approach worked because comments were stored in M365 Group conversation threads which were accessible via Graph.

Task Chat bypasses that entirely.
The Graph beta endpoint for Planner task comments (which existed for the old model) doesn't cover Task Chat messages. No equivalent endpoint has been published for the new system.

The most honest answer: there's no supported way to read Task Chat comments programmatically right now. The best thing you can do is upvote the feature request on the Microsoft feedback portal (https://aka.ms/powerautomate-ideas) and monitor the Planner roadmap at https://aka.ms/planner-roadmap.
If you need this functionality urgently the only workaround is to revert to basic Planner plans which still use group conversation threads, but that's obviously not ideal if you need Task Chat features.
