    Hi,

Here's some places to start.  It's hard to say exactly what the root cause is because it may be one or more issues.

    • Run Power Automate Desktop as Administrator: Ensure Power Automate Desktop is launched with elevated permissions by right-clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator". Sometimes, even if you're using an admin account, Power Automate Desktop may not have full permissions unless explicitly elevated.

    • Verify AD Module Permissions: Ensure your admin account has the necessary Active Directory (AD) permissions to make updates on members or groups. While you may have general admin rights, specific AD operations can sometimes require additional permissions.

    • PowerShell Script Permissions: If the update is run via a PowerShell script in Power Automate Desktop, confirm the script has the correct permissions set to run with the current user. You might need to modify execution policies:

      • Open PowerShell as Administrator.
      • Run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned or Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted (use carefully).
    • Check Group Policy and Security Policies: If you’re on a domain-joined machine, Group Policy or Local Security Policy settings might restrict certain scripts or processes. Verify these policies aren’t limiting your account's permissions or preventing execution.

    • Credentials Cache Issue: Sometimes, cached credentials can cause conflicts. You might try clearing saved credentials in Windows Credential Manager or logging out and back in to refresh authentication.

    • Script Testing on DC: Try running your script directly on the Domain Controller without Power Automate Desktop. If the script fails directly, this could isolate the issue to a permissions or policy setting on the DC itself, unrelated to Power Automate Desktop.

    Ciao trice602,

grazie per la tua risposta. In ordine risponderò ai tuoi suggerimenti:

Running a Powershell Script in Power Automate

    thanks
