New to Power Automate. Need Help

Hello everyone!!

I would like to use Power Automate to automatically assign work and tasks to my employees up to three weeks in advance. The goal is to create better predictability and reduce confusion at the start of each workweek. I have access to the full Microsoft 365 suite and can pull a predictable Preventive Maintenance schedule from either Power BI or an Excel spreadsheet.

Both management and the team heavily use Microsoft Teams Planner, and we use DCCMMS to execute work, post time, and close out work orders. I would also like to leverage Power BI to track and report on work assigned to technicians.

Is this possible, and can this process be fully or partially automated?

Short answer is yes, what you want to do is achievable. You should start mapping out the requirements and work with your stakeholders to find out any unique needs they may have. You can then start building the flow and process incrementally using an Agile approach. Then, you if you encounter a specific issue, you can ask for assistance in the forums. Good luck.

For assigning tasks you should first look at Microsoft Planner and then To-Do.
