We have a brand new SharePoint online tenant >> and we have a SharePoint list to manage contracts for our customers, currently the list contain around 400 items, can be doubled in size in the next 3-4 years. Now we are planning to build a scheduled power automate flow which calls a child flow. the child flow mainly do the following:-
1) Get the SharePoint list items which have their Due Date = Today.
2) For each item it will send an email to the related client with a HTML table describing the items.
Now since our list is considered small (under 1k items),,, so i think having a low performance license will be sufficient for us at this stage? am i correct?
second question, will there be any differences to the service account performance and capabilities if we get E1 or E3 ? or both will have the same effect on the service account performance ?
Thanks
Hi @johnjohn123 ,
For the first question, you are understanding it correctly, and for now, it would be enough for your to use either E1 or E3 license. And you can check below screenshot for their function in power platform, which can be checked further from power platform's license guide file: download link
And below is the difference about request limits that are associated with the different license plans:
Document link:Types of Power Automate licenses - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn
To conclude, both of them have the same effect on the service account performance for sure.
Hope this can answer your questions.
