Would like to know best practice on handling large items in power automate

    When processing thousands of SharePoint items in Power Automate, I usually recommend:

    • Use Filter Query to retrieve only the items you need.
    • Enable Pagination and set an appropriate threshold.
    • Process items in batches instead of loading everything at once.
    • Avoid unnecessary Apply to each loops where possible.Consider parallel processing for large workloads.

    The most effective strategy is not to process thousands of items faster, but to avoid processing thousands of items in the first place. By using indexed filters, incremental processing, and batch operations, most large-list Power Automate solutions remain performant and avoid SharePoint threshold, timeout, and throttling issues.
