Flow pulls user profile of Flow creator - not submitter

I used the template "Request manager approval for leave requests" but when another employee adds a leave request to the SharePoint List the Flow pulls my user profile and sends the request to my manager.  How do I get the flow to pull the profile of the employee submitting the leave request?

Can you post a screen shot of your Flow?  I will show you how to correct your issue.

Your issue is likely that you are retrieving your manager rather than the manager of the person who created the item.

Your Flow should look something like this:

    ApproveExample.jpg

In the Yes and No areas, you probably want to send an email to the person who requested the leave and possible update the SharePoint list.

Please post here if you need more help.

    Hi @ sbowles,

Have your problem be solved refer to @ScottShearer 's answer?

Please choose the "Created by Email" dynamic content of the trigger in the input field of the "Get manager" action to get the manager of the user who submit the request.

Please let me know if your issue could be solved.

    Regards,
    Alice Zhang
