Sending intimation to team when reminder on e-mail request arrives

Hello Team,

I have created a cloud flow to create tasks in Planner when e-mail arrives and this flow is structured to check for conversationID in e-mail and if there are replies then it will ignore creation of new tasks on replies, forwards etc.

Now I want to create a e-mail notification when a reply arrives on a task which is marked as completed in Planner - Can anyone help on this flow?

Hi @SB-09041025-0, hope you are doing well.

You can reuse the same flow to also send notifications when a reply (in a conversation) arrives that has a task associated with it and marked as completed in Planner. You just need to ensure you add the ConversationID to the tasks when you create them somehow, storing "CID:12345" in the description or title, for example.

Once your tasks are associated with a conversation, you can update your existing flow.
In the condition where you check if the email is part of a conversation, when it resolves to true, do the following:
    • Use List tasks (Planner)
    • Filter where Description contains the ConversationId
    • For all the tasks that the List tasks returns, check if their status is completed. You can do that with a Filter array action:
    • If true: send email notification

Hi @SB-09041025-0, hope you are doing well.

Just wanted to check in and see if everything is working now. If you still need any help, feel free to let me know.
Also, if the issue is resolved, it would be great if you could mark the answer as solved so others with the same question can find it easily.

Thanks and have a great day!

Thanks, Reza - I added a filter array and a condition to get through it. My initial filter array had a check to see if the task lists returned no value which contained ConversationID so that my initial flow created a task for it. Under the false criteria, I added a filter array to filter tasks which had been completed 100% and then used the condition for conversationID.
