Guid displaying instead of text in teams message after flow

Hi all,

I have a very simple flow running (it is my first flow tbf) and basically what happens is on a customer journey we add the name (via a lookup to contact) of a salesperson to that customer journey (opportunity table)in dynamics. adding this name triggers a flow that sends a teams message to a supervisor to say a new customer journey has begun and it has been assigned to *salesperson*

however the teams message reads:

"a new customer journey has begun and it has been assigned to 00909903j3i30380292j2992" (random letters and numbers, guid?)

The only dynamic content options I have to insert into the flow are

salesperson - type

salesperson - value

Can anyone please help?

Many thanks

matthu

    If you look at the raw outputs you will be able to see the formatted value, so an example would look like this:

    _ownerid_value@OData.Community.Display.V1.FormattedValue

    But you often cannot get it from the Dynamic Content, so you need to use an expression like this:

    item()?['crb1c_documenttype@OData.Community.Display.V1.FormattedValue']

    Something along those lines, if you look at the raw outputs of whatever action you are using to query dataverse you will see the value you are after there.

    Thank you Paulie, i'll go and have a look at the raw outputs.
