Adding Query Parameters in Trigger (JIRA JQL)

Helllo world,

It seems the Jira JQL trigger was updated after some initial downtime (discussed here), but apparently there has been some additional change and currently the trigger wrongly uses the default API parameters which only return the issue id. Documented here by Atlassian. I understand that an additional query parameter like "&fields=*all" should be added in the trigger. Is there a way us users can do something like this until Microsoft fixes the default trigger request to properly return full data?

Thanks.

    Hi @dorlis,

On the 30th of September they seem to fixed some issues related to trigger actions and their outputs:

Can you still reproduce your issue?

    Happy to help out 😁

    Hi @Expiscornovus,

Yes, on September 30th the issue was fixed so the dafault trigger can work with the new Jira API. So in general one would be able to work using this trigger and do further processing in following steps in the flow.

The question on adding query parameters, however, remains, and to my understanding is currently unavailable. Most likely there'll be workarounds, but having the ability to add specific query parameters might be beneficial in some cases. Realistically, I don't expect something like this becoming available, though.
