JIRA Trigger- When a new issue is created (V2) throwing error

From this Morning I'm seeing this error on the JIRA trigger
The API 'jira' returned an invalid response for workflow operation 'When_a_new_issue_is_created_(V2)' of type 'OpenApiConnection'. Error details: 'The API operation 'OnNewIssue_V2' requires the property 'body/0/fields/description' to be of type 'String' but is of type 'Object'.'

Is anyone seeing this issue? How to fix this please?

I assume you have only selected the project and provided the correct instance in the setup of that action, correct?

Additionally, with which type of issue did you have this error? Was it a bug or a different work item type in Jira? Can you double check this in your Jira project? Can you share more details about the contents of that work item. Was for example the description empty? I thought normally that fields was mandatory in Jira?

My flows were working just fine for two years now, but this issue started today.

To answer you question. Yes I have selected Project and Jira Instance.

We are capturing Defects and Issues using our flows.
From today morning, I see the response from this trigger has changed(When a new issue is created (V2)).

For example I don't see Description anymore and the Steps to Reproduce is different as well,  Steps to Reproduce field(customfield_10015) used to a text field, now its different.

Not sure if there is a new V3 trigger for this?

It sounds like something changed on the Jira Cloud APIs. Haven't spotted something yet, but it might be worth investigating the below changelog:

In the meantime you might be able to contact Microsoft about this (via a support call). As far as I am aware they are the publisher of this connector:

I'm having the same error, but with the 'When an issue is closed (v2)' trigger.

It broke when the JIRA API change/deprecation occurred, then started working again when MS applied a fix to the connector (per known issue here: 5583106 | Power Platform admin center).

It started working after that fix on the 12th of Sept, but then broke again on 16th Sept, with the same error mentioned by @BS-23091750-0

It seems like MS might have changed something again?  Or Atlassian?

We have experienced the same issue.
The flow works fine when the 'description' field is left empty. However, if the description is populated, it leads to an error.
This is most likely caused by Atlassian's ADF format used in text fields like the description.
We are waiting for this to be resolved soon.

Issue seems to be resolved since 30. September :)
