Hi,

I am currently having a hard time with the Convert_file_using_path on MS Flow.

It was working fine just a month ago but now I am getting this error message: The remote name could not be resolved.
inner exception: An error occurred while sending the request.
inner exception: The remote name could not be resolved: 'media.cloudapp.net'

Any way to fix this?

Thanks!

    Hi @Json123

    Couple of things to check.

    (1) Any domain name or network changes occurred recently.

    (2) The account you are using for convert file using path still have permission to connect the domain path?

    (3) Try removing the existing step and recreate again.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

    How do I check to see if the domain still have permission to connect?

    It doesn't have any issues to create a file as shown below:

    Also, I have tried to delete and recreate, but it didn't work.

    Hi @Json123

    Thanks for your quick reply. Try removing the existing step "Convert  file using path". Then add the same step back again and use a new connection using same credentials.

    Hi @Json123

    Just another thought around this. After create file please add the below step

    image.png

    What might be happening is after the create file flow is executing straight away the next step and behind the scene system is busy still with create file process such as creating meta data etc. So adding a minute delay might resolve your issue.

    Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks

    @abm

    Hi,

    Thank you for your help!

    I tried both suggestions but it is still not working. When I go to my onedrive, I see the file already created so I don't think it's the delay issue.

    Thanks!

    Hi @Json123

    Thanks for the reply. Yes of course the file will be there but there might be a timing issue between file creation process and next step action. I have similar issue in the past and resolved this via adding a delay.

    Could you try removing the current step and add a new one. Also use a new connection.

    Thanks

    @abm

    Hi,

    I have tried both adding a delay and deleting/adding, but unfortunately, it didn't work. I changed connections as well.

    Thanks!
