Hello,

Is it possible to "scan" your email inbox (Outlook) and regarding to the emails, make a change in a sharepoint list.

Kind Regards

    Hi @keremtsc :

You could use the'Get mails(V3)' to get mails, you can achieve the scanning effect by setting some restrictions(for example To\From\Search Query😞

In addition,I'm not sure what " make a change in a sharepoint list" is?Do you want to create new items in a SP list base on the "Scanning" Result?

If so, you could create a loop to traverse the results of Scanning and add the search results to the SP list one by one.

    Best Regards,

    Bof

Hello @v-bofeng-msft and thank you for the answer! 🙂

First of all thank you with the "Get emails" connector.

What I mean with "make a change in a sharepoint list" is:

I already have a Item in the list and depending on the email I want to make a change in just one column in the whole item. (I think a whole row is a item right?)

    Hi @keremtsc :

Could you please describe the rules for "make a change in a sharepoint list" in detail?

    Hi @v-bofeng-msft,

yes sure. Okay, so I have a Email inbox in which there is gonna be just two types of Emails coming in.

The two types of email are for example going to say: "Retain this user" or "Revoke this user". And in the sharepoint list there is going to be the users in a row with a column which says "Status" and after "scanning" the inbox the status is going to change to either "revoke" or "retain".

    Hi @keremtsc :

I assume there is a SP list like this:

    My mail box:

    Hi @v-bofeng-msft,

that is so helpfull, thank you so much!

I dont know why but I did the same thing, obviously so that it should work for my List. Though the status column doesnt change but there is no error! I think I might have picked the wrong value at some point but I will find out somehow I guess.

Edit: It worked!!! I just put in the wrong dynamic content (Sharepoint "Body" instead of Outlook "Body).

    Thank you!
