Hi,

I have an Excel file with data. After executing this code, when I open it again, it looks like it's damaged as shown in the picture.  Why is this happening? Thanks!!

    Is this happening for only this excel file? you can also try to do the same process for other excel file and observe the results.

    @sophia111 ,

    So the thing is , you are launching the excel and save but not closing before that you are trying to open,

    try to complete all action and try.

    2nd instead of save as use close excel inside properties.

    If you want to kill excel use this code:

    Hi, Deenuji,

    I have tried another excel file, it also appeared.

    And FYI,  When the process reached first step Lacunch Excel, the file was still in good condition, and this issue only occurred after Save Excel, when I tried to switch to Close Excel and chose Save document, the same problem still occurred.

    Hi @sophia111 ,

    Can you share the excel file personally if it does not contain any sensitive data?

    Regards,

    Vishnu Reddy

    The file is not damaged. It's just that the workbook has been hidden. Please refer to this article on how to unhide it: https://earnandexcel.com/blog/how-to-unhide-an-excel-workbook-a-comprehensive-guide/

    I know a few cases where PAD does this. The only way we have found to avoid it is making the instance visible in Launch Excel. When you do that, the workbook does not get hidden.
