Managing an Organization-wide Power Automate Flow with Outlook and Office 365 Users Connectors

How can I best manage an organization-wide Power Automate Flow that uses the Outlook Send an Email V2 and Office 365 Users connectors, triggered by a Microsoft Form submission, to avoid disruptions if the user who created the flow leaves the organisation?

I know that 'best practice' due to safety and recommendations is authenticating with a Service principle, I know that authenticating against a service principal is only possible for Dataverse Connectors. Since this recent feature release. it seems possible to add a service principal as a Flow owner.

However, what is the best practice to authenticate against the connectors (Outlook V2 and Office 365 Users)

One of the suggestions is to setup a Service Account and assign it an O365 License

    • Create new Flows or import existing Flows into the Service Account
    • Share the Flows with the Authors (so they can update the Flows from their own account but it continues to run as the Service Account)
    • Email will come from the Service Accounts email address
