Prevent Infinite Loop in Power Automate

I have a case where I could use your guidance.

I have a frequently updated list, and each time a modification is made, or a new record is added, I need to initiate an approval cycle in Power Automate. However, when I update the Approval status column to Approved or Rejected, the approval cycle enters a loop.

Is there a way to prevent this loop?

The simplest way would be to add a trigger condition to your flow to check that the modified by e-mail is not the e-mail of the owner of the flow. This blog post will provide more information: How to avoid infinite trigger loop in Power Automate
