Data Import from excel without table to dataverse

Hi everyone,

I’m working with an Excel file that does not contain a table, and the file can have a random number of rows each time. I need to import this data into Dataverse using a Power Automate flow.

Since the Excel isn’t formatted as a table, I’m unsure how to read the data dynamically in the flow.

Does anyone have suggestions or best practices for importing data from a non‑table Excel into Dataverse using Power Automate?

Use the Excel action "Create Table" to create a table with more than enough rows in the table range.

Use "Get Tables" to retrieve the newly created table.

Use "List rows present in a table" to get the data.

Filter for non-empty rows.

@Chriddle thanks for your response. But the issue is we don't know the excel range it could be anything as the number of records will be random in excel and the flow is scheduled and will run daily and upsert data into dataverse.

You can set the range larger than the expected number of rows and delete empty rows later.
