Hi!Is it possible to build a flow to convert all files in an onedrive folder from old XLS to XLSX?If yes, please describe in which steps, or include a print screen please. Thanks!
Hi @leofromrio , perhaps you could try the UI Flow template below. It will require a minor modification https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/8925727cb4f044e9b577f5ae111f2947/convert-xls-files-to-xlsx-using-ui-flows/----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If my reply was helpful consider giving a THUMBS UP or if it solved your issue, please ACCEPT SOLUTION so others can find it.
I need this to be part of an automated flow, so I guess UI won't work.
Hi @leofromrio ,
If you don't want to use UI flow, you could take a try to create a flow to create a new XLSX file with file content from the XLS file.
Best Regards,
Alice

@v-alzhan-msft Your suggestion doesn't work, simply reads as a corrupted file.
This does not work and is not a solution. This should be basic functionality offered by Microsoft. Why is no one addressing this in the multiple threads about it??? Very frustrating
Hello,
I have tried with the above solution... creating a flow that create new file with extension .XLSX and get file content from .XLS but still it is showing the file is corrupted and cant be open.

Hi! There’s a Power Automate action “Convert XLS to XLSX” available from Plumsail Documents. You can use it to batch convert all XLS files stored in the OneDrive folder. This article outlines a helpful example of how to create a Power Automate flow, you just need to use OneDrive instead of SharePoint actions:
Convert XLS to XLSX in Power Automate
The product does require a license, but there’s a free trial available.
