Hi everyone,

I have a datagateway configured and a SQL connection congfigured using this gateway.

When I want to 'insert a row' I can see my tables to choose form in the drop down.

When I want to 'Get Rows' I can see my tables to choose form in the drop down

When I want to 'Get Row' there are no tables to choose from?

any one know why this is?

many thanks

Lee

    Hi Lee,

When using the action "SQL - Get row", we are asked to specify Table name and Row Id.

I tried to create a flow with the actions "SQL - Get rows" and "SQL - Get row", I can see tables for both these two actions when I click the Dropdown button.

Which browser are you using? I am using IE on my side.

Please try this issue again and feel free reply if you are still not able to select the table name for the "Get row" action.

    Best regards,

    Mabel Mao

    Hiya,

thanks for getting back to me on this,

I have tried it in IE, Edge, Chrome and Firefox this morning and still unable to see any tables for the get row service of SQL strangely

I get the same results as Lee.  Using Get Rows I can see my tables in the dropdown straight away.  Get Row shows "Loading..." until it times out and shows no tables.  I'm using the same connection for both.

    Hi Lee,

Does the table “PERSON” have a primary key?

I create several tables in On-Premise SQL server, several with Primary key while others don’t have a primary key. I found that when using the action “Insert row” and “Get rows”, all the tables can be selected from the table name list. While when using the action “Get row”, only the tables that have primary key can be selected from the table name list.

So please check the primary key in your table and try again with it. Please let me know if this works for you.
