Extract Signature as Image from Document

Hi Everyone,

Currently with my team we are analyzing to develop a Business Solution that aims to extract signatures from documents of our customers in a massive way.
So,
1. Signature records of new customers are retrieved.
2. For each document, extract the signature from a signature field as an image (Base64, Binary or other).
3. Stored each signature image in a repository for future use.

Of course, we are working with Power Platform, but we can't find a way to do it with the current tools. Not even with the models available in AI HUB.

Can you guide me with this? Do you know any Solution within the Microsoft ecosystem that allows to do this?

I hope you can help us. Thank you very much!

Hi,

I have a handful of flows that are really stable and I have been extracting images from PDFs using Power Automate for Desktop. There's an action that works really well and is very dependable.

Hi Juanse,

Yes you can achieve this project by creating a custom document processing model with Fixed Template.

Navigate to https://make.powerautomate.com/

Select AI hub

Select AI models

Select Document processing

Select Create custom model

Select Fixed template documents as the type of documents

In the Choose information to extract, select Signature and then select Next to define the signature you want the AI model to extract.
