Send message to individual users on teams as user - not flow bot

I am trying to build a flow where I need to send message to users privately "as user" and not a flow bot. Is there a workaround to send message directly to the users? I am unable to create chat also. I have encircled it in red in the flow where I need to send the private message. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi @Anonymous,

I have seen a new preview action in the Teams connector which might be useful for your scenario, create a chat:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/teams/#create-a-chat

The documentation suggests that a one-to-one kind of chat might be possible:

This operation creates a one on one or group chat

Hi @Expiscornovus, I did try that action, but unfortunately it is not executing (probably the chat already exists in my teams account) I'll try again and update here.

@Expiscornovus So, I tried again and I get below error. Could it be that the chat already exists and I have to workaround "list chats" action? I tried with both, email address and the user ID (which I took from list group members.

Hello again @Expiscornovus , Now I tried with users who I did not have any previous chat with, same error.

Then I tried to add more users in order to create a group chat, to try, same error.

    Hi @Anonymous,

I have used the action a week ago. Back then it was working fine. However, now I have the same error as you.

My guess is that there is some underlying issue with this new preview action. I have created a GitHub issue for this:

    https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/BusinessApplicationPlatform-Connectors-public/issues/375

I am facing the same issue while creating a group chat using this option.

@Expiscornovus - have you seen any update on this item?

    Thank you for your time

    Hi @egornua1,

Last time I checked the Create Chat action still worked. I wasn't able to reproduce the issue after the 16th of July 2021 with the Create Chat action, like mentioned in the closed GitHub item:

    https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/BusinessApplicationPlatform-Connectors-public/issues/375

Do make sure you don't add the account which is used to create the chat group (the account from the connection) as a member. The action will add that account by default as a member. Otherwise that account will be marked as a duplicate member.
