Hi all,
Is it possible to make use of ai builder to determine 2 specific pdfs type and sieve them out eg.

-quotation pdf consists of updated price beside the old one where the old one is struck off

-quotation pdf where multiple description items are lumped together to 1 price cuz they are of the same price

From my experience, this probably won’t work reliably with AI Builder alone.

I have tried many similar approaches. AI Builder (and the underlying document processing/OCR) is really good at extracting text and structure like lines, words, (and tables), but I don't think it reliably captures formatting details like strikethrough.

So if your only indicator is that the old price is crossed out, the model will most likely just read it as normal text, without distinguishing it from the new price. (Maybe you should try.)

It can work better if there are additional cues, like: labels such as “old price” / “new price”, consistent positioning (then you could try training a custom model) or predictable patterns in the document

But relying purely on the visual strikethrough itself is usually not reliable.
