I do not use WinAutomation, but saw that it was an option for building out automation.  Did Power Automate Desktop replace WinAutomation?  Thanks!

I have the same question (0)

Thanks- is WinAutomation the recommended app for UI Flow creation or is it being replaced by Power Automate Desktop.  They seem very similar and we need to know which app to focus on.

Hey drake, the short answer is Power Automate Desktop would be the recommended approach going forward.

Since Power Automate Desktop was released in September, this replaces the need to use WinAutomation for desktop RPA automation. My org used WinAutomation for automation back in the summer but have been using Power Automate Desktop going forward due to input/output functionality and that the UI Flows/Desktop Flows get saved in the cloud now (no backups from our VMs).

    I hope this helped clarify!

Hi @drake , recommended way is to develop with Power Automate Desktop. I don't think WinAutomation is not going to get any more updates.

    PAD is recommended.

    Thanks

Does anyone know when PAD will be available in the GCC? We are still using WinAutomation
