Sharing Flows

I built a Power Automate flow that connects to Office 365 Outlook, Microsoft Dataverse, and an HTTP action using Microsoft Entra ID (preauthorized). The flow runs perfectly on my end. I’m trying to share it with a coworker, but even after I give them co-owner access and they set up the required connections, the flow errors out on their side whenever it hits any connector actions (for example, Get emails (V3)).

What’s the right way to share this so it runs under their connections as well? Also, is there any way that I can run the automation on behalf of my coworker with my account? Thank you

@SV-09022254-0, You haven't specified what type of flow it is (Manual, Automated or Scheduled) also there is information about the what is the error which your co-worker are experiencing. Based on my experience i understood this issue is totally because of the connections in the power automate (try sharing the connections with relevant users)

If your power automate is  Manual trigger or Power Apps based trigger ,Use Run-only users.  This will help you to run the flow in the every user context.

As a best practice the entire flow if configured under the service account and service account having relevant permission.

If you are using outlook connectors such as get e-Mails the impersonation or run behalf of won't works, this will work if the run only user have proper permissions on the shared mail box not on the individual mail boxes.

@MS.Ragavendar, I had a similar scenario where I am using an automated flow with the trigger "When a new email arrives (V3)". I created the flow as part of a solution for another employee in my organization. The flow works for me, but when I made the other employee a co-owner of the flow and changed the outlook connection to their account, the trigger stopped firing. Does this mean my solution will not work unless it operates on a shared inbox rather than an individual one?
