Import Errors; then error creating new flow

Hi,

I have imported an app from one 365 account to another and now need to import associated flows (not directly used by the app hence weren't imported when the app was imported.

First if I try and import it I get import conflicts; then if I try the below option of saving as a new flow.

  • Import failed. To import this flow you’ll need to save it as a new flow first. Save as a new flow

If I then try save as a new flow I get the "it looks like something went wrong" screen.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks

    Hi @emsleyd

This is regarding authorisation issue regarding the SharePoint. Try the following:

Create a new flow and try to access Get Items for the same list which is in that solution. This will create a new connection under the connections. Also this process will make sure you have access to this Sharepoint list. Then import the solution again.

    Thanks

    Morning @abm

Thank you for the reply. I have copied the first couple of steps which include the Get Items; I'm then saving the flow and trying to import again. I have used both "Create as new" and "update" (and selecting my new flow); then updating the connections however I still get the same errors; i'll try again with a different flow.

    Hi @emsleyd

Check the other flow what are the lists its trying to access. Have you got permission to access all the lists?

    Thanks

I created the lists so assumed I would have permission to access them (I have always done had access when doing so in the past) but just to make sure I have shared each list with the account I am using (and selected "can edit items") however I am still getting the same errors.

    Hi @emsleyd

Is this a different SharePoint url (Domain name)?

If it is then you need to pass the dynamic url name for the SharePoint using environment variables. Once you create the environment variable then click the Add dynamic content and select the variable. So under the variable you can specify the url name.

For creating the environment variable you need to create a solution and add the flow under that. Once all done you can export and import to other environments.

    Thanks

    Thanks
