Receiving certificate error when trying to set up sql server connection.

When trying to set up the sql server connection in Power Automate I received the following error.

Microsoft SQL: A connection was
successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred
during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The
certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.)

I also receive this same error when using SSMS to connect to sql server, but am able to get past it by checking the Trust Server Certificate box. In my research I've found that to potentially get around this I need to have the server cert installed/imported to my computer. I tried to do this but was only able to do it for the current user and I have to use a different account to run SSMS so I'm guessing it needs installed for all users, which I can have my IT team look into.

But since I am using Power Automate in the cloud I am not sure exactly how to fix the issue there. Would the cert need installed on the server that the data gateway is installed on, or on my laptop? Is there any other way to get past this error even temporarily so I can make sure the sql connector will work for our needs before I ask others to do potentially unnecessary work?

If it wasn't obvious by mention of the gateway I am using power automate in the cloud and trying to connect to an on prem sql server.
