Problems after udating to latest version of PAD

Hello guys

After I have updated to the latest version of PAD, I experince some wierd behaviour.

1) Move mouse to image, have always been using basic as search algorithme, but now it only works with advanced.

1a) It tries to click on the image before it appears.
The two processes that are using this have been running for almost a year without any problems, and no other updates have been made

2) Set window state (maximized) by instance, tells me that it can't find the instance, even though the proces can click in it (until it fails)

Have anybody else seen any problems?

I have the same question (0)

    @Highboy ,

    I feel for you. I had a similar situation with RoboCorp which is how I ended up at PAD.

    This doesn’t help you this time since you already upgraded, but here is an article on upgrading PAD, for future reference:  https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/power-automate-desktop-pad-best-practices-part-4-updating-annis

    Do you have someone on the old version who could pick up the damaged flows and continue to run them?

    I really wish there was more version management functionality. I’m afraid to upgrade, simply because I don’t have the time. Unless some bell/whistle comes out that I absolutely need, I’m safe on 2.8, because I know what losing multiple bots to an upgrade feels like.

    Best of luck!

    @MichaelAnnis

    We have a lot of flows, and most of them just run as usual, but some don't.
    We can't test every flow, we don't have time for that (Wish I had), but it annoys me that since version 2.14 we have seen lots of problems after updating.
    Why update, when it causes so much grief, you may ask, but there are new functions every time, and we need them 😊
    It's not that I can't get the flows to work on the new version, but the time used on it, is time lost for other projects.

    So please MS, stop messing around with stuff that already works, and keep adding new features....

    Whole-heartedly agree.  Each flow should be able to be tied to the version it was created on, and all the versions should work simultaneously so that a flow never loses functionality.

    I told you to wait 3 month, but you did not listen. 😆
