Working with the Dynamics 365 Connector, or should I be using the Dataverse Connector?

Hi everyone

I'm VERY new to Flow / Power Automate and I'm trying to use it with our Dynamics 365 CRM.

What I want to happen is for various fields on our Contacts table to be blanked if the Deceased field is set to Yes.

I couldn't find a D365 connector (everyone seems to talk about this in old videos on Youtube etc), so I figured that I may need to use the Dataverse connector instead. Is my assumption correct?

I've got this far, but don't really know if what I've done so far is correct and indeed what I need to do next! Any help would be much appreciated:

    Hi @jonclaylondon ,

    Your assumption is correct.

You can add an action (update a row) from 'if yes' branch to clear values from some fields.

    Sample:

// it will clear the value from email field

    Hi @v-xiaochen-msft

Thank you so much for confirming. How would I get the relevant Row ID?

Because this Flow could relate to any contact, I'm not sure where to get the Row ID from.

    Many thanks
    Jon

    Hi @jonclaylondon ,

I think you can get the dynamic row ID from your trigger.
