Extract data from web page

Hi all,

Issue 1:

From my understanding according to the tutorials that I watched on youtube in relation to the action Extract data from web page. It should automatically extract the identical element values if I perform the action twice?

For example, I am trying to extract the Vehicles name on the website but it is not retrieving all of the values. Technically I should get 60 values in total if I perform the same action twice correct? If you look at the Live web helper, I am only get a couple of them?

Issue 2:

It got even worse when I run PAD flow, where it only extracts 3 values from the website. I ran a couple of more times and it's really random, sometimes I get 5 sometimes 3.

Is anyone having the same problem too?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi.

Looking at the underlying HTML of the site, it seems to not be loading all the cars, but only the first few cars that are visible.

So when you are trying to extract the data, it will not be able to find any data on the ones labeled: "lazyload-placeholder".

The further you scroll down on the page, however, the more cars will be loaded into the browser.

So a solution could be to have your flow scroll to the bottom of the page at a moderate speed before you extract the data. Then you should receive everything 🙂

Alternatively you could investigate using an API Request to extract the data you want, but it requires a whole different skillset to deploy that as opposed to PAD 🙂
