Read text from word file

Hi guys,
 
I have a small requirement that need to read text from word file, but when I tried to read special symbol shown as below from the file, the result is empty
 
could you guys can give suggestion how can I recognize the symbol correctly using PAD, thanks in advance

    Can you try to check if those are some kind of list markers and not just some text / different alt symbols? 

    One way you could go around this is to try with "Extract data from window" -UI Automation action instead of "Read from Word document" - Word action.
    "Read from word document" -action doesn't seem to read words list markers as text but takes just the plain text. "Extract data from window" -action does seem to also take list markers like bullet points.
