Cannot uninstall Power Automate Desktop App

  1. Download the Power Automate Desktop MSI file from Microsoft Learn and install it.

  2. There already have another Power Automate app installed from the Microsoft Store.

  3. Open the Installed apps and can see two Power Automate apps.

  4. Uninstall the app installed from the Microsoft Store, and the process succeeds.

  5. When attempting to uninstall the app installed via the MSI, it fails. The error message states: "Power Automate App is already uninstalled."

System version: Windows 11 Pro

    It looks like there is a ghost installation of Power Automate Desktop due to incomplete uninstallation. Windows still thinks the MSI version is installed, but some files might be missing.
     
    Steps to Fix the Issue
    • Check Installed Programs in Control Panel
    • Open Control Panel → Programs and Features.
    • Look for Power Automate Desktop.
    • If it's listed, try uninstalling it from here.
    • If the uninstall fails, proceed to the next steps
    Delete Leftover Files and Registry Entries If nothing works Use PowerShell to remove the Power Automate from the system.
