When I try to create a new Custom Connector or update an existing one I get an error when I select OAuth 2.0 as authentication type. The error is "Error trying to load connection provider parameters. Try refreshing the page or check your network settings". I've tried in 2 different tenants and multiple environments and the error always appears.
Because the issue occurs across multiple environments, multiple connectors, and multiple tenants—and specifically when selecting OAuth 2.0—the problem is
unlikely to be caused by the connector definition itself. The most probable causes are a tenant-level restriction, a permission issue causing backend API calls to
return 403 Forbidden, or a Microsoft platform regression affecting OAuth provider parameter retrieval. The browser Network trace will usually reveal which of
these is occurring and is the best next troubleshooting step.
