Power Automate Desktop cannot click dropdown menu item

Hello,

I am using Power Automate Desktop to automate a website.

I am trying to click a dropdown menu item called "Data Flow Automation", but the action fails.

The dropdown opens on the same page (no page navigation). When I use "Press button on web page", the dropdown item cannot be detected or clicked.

What I tried:
- Added "Wait for web page content"
- Used a custom selector: a[Text="Data Flow Automation"]
- Tried adding waiting actions

However, PAD still cannot click the dropdown item.

The dropdown menu only appears after clicking the parent menu button.

My questions:
1. What is the best way to automate clicking a dropdown menu item in Power Automate Desktop?
2. Should I use Click UI element instead of Press button on web page?
3. Is there a recommended waiting method for dropdown menus that load dynamically?

Thank you for your help.

    Hi,

This issue usually occurs when the Canvas Page reference inside the Model-Driven app is not updated properly or the app is using cached metadata. If the page is visible on the editor but shows blank in the Model-Driven app, you can try the following checks :-

    1. Publish All Customization
    - Go to make.powerapps.com
    - Open the solution
    - Click publish all customization
-Open the Model Driven App, Click Save and Publish again
            2.   Clear Brower Cache

            3.    Remove and read the Canvas page
                    - Edit the Model-Driven app → remove the canvas page → save → add it again → publish.
Sometimes the reference to the page becomes invalid.

             4.  Verify Permissions
    - Ensure the Canvas app is shared with the user and the user has proper security roles in the environment.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!
