Save word as using file path where user is Forename.Surname bug

Hopefully the title explains most of it. Basically when using the new word functionality and saving a document using a file path with a '.' in it, power automate comes back with an error saying the file path isn't valid. This only happens when the file path is a variable and not 'hard coded'.

I have the same question (0)

Are you sure you have the complete file path and not only the variable which has the file name? Sometimes you can forget that when changing from hardcoded file path to variable.
    Like so:

So not only the variable(unless it include the whole file path user/folder/forename.surname.txt)

Yeah I have the full file path. C:\Users\(Forename.Surname)\Desktop\Word\(FileName)

I've highlighted what seems to be the issue in red. This works fine hard coded, but when its variable it doesn't work. However if I create a folder in the users folder that doesn't contain a '.' (e.g. C:\Users\Test\(FileName)) it will work with a variable.

I tried to reproduce the issue but for me it works fine with folder having a '.' in the name and file path being inside variable.

Yeah the dot wasn't the problem. Appreciate the help. I managed to fix it after doing your test but I'm not sure what I did differently. Maybe something was off in the variable, but that wouldn't explain why it still worked when I copied it from the variable to hardcode it.
