Hi Guys,

I need help with a flow doing a dynamic web form filling from excel, it will sometimes truncate the data it captures in the fields erratically, please advise what the problem could be. I am using power automate desktop Populate text field on web page

Hi @Davido3 ,

Try to use truncate number action before using Populate that truncate variable you can use inside populate, else if you required for some other criteria also like if or switch condition.

Can you please provide some screenshots of your flow, as well as the page you are trying to populate? Maybe some examples of what happens?

above is the flow and the populated page, you can see not all characters are captured in fields such as email, address and company name are truncated. sometimes it will get everything sometimes not, there seems to be no pattern

Hello, I have the same issue. I've used same flow for a few months and after computer update it started truncating numbers.

Hi @Simona9 , try changing the advanced settings as above, it seems to have worked for me, I hope it's a permant solution for both of us.
