Cannot uninstall managed solution

Hello everyone

I come to you with a problem.

I created a solution on my DEV environment.
I exported the solution as a managed solution.
I imported the solution on my coworker's pc on our PROD environment.
(My coworker is the end user)
I shared the solution with me.
In prod i see the solution in shared with me, my coworker sees the solution in solutions.

Now i cannot uninstall the solution on either my or my coworker's pc.
When i try to uninstall the solution attached message appears.

Can you help me with uninstalling the solution?

Alternative question: How can i make the managed PROD solution unmanaged without reinstalling it?

I will be grateful if you help me.

    Hi dude,

It looks like your Desktop Flow is preventing the managed solution from being uninstalled.

Start by turning off your flow :
Turn a flow on or off, and delete a flow - Power Automate | Microsoft Learn

Then try again to delete your solution and let me know if it works.

    Thank you @Tristan_D for answering.

I turned off all cloud flows that are part of the solution.
Next i tried to uninstall solution resulting in the very same error
Workflow uninstall: FAILURE, workflow id *id* category RoboticProcessAutomationFlow name *desktop flow 1's name (see attachment)*

I cancelled all cloud flow runs, tried uninstalling, again the same error.

In the solution i have two cloud flows and a couple of desktop flows.
One scheduled cloud flow turns on a desktop flow, the other one is triggered on received mail by an outlook trigger.
The above mentioned desktop flow is the one that runs the rest of desktop flows (see desktop flow 1 on diagram in attachment).

    Maybe there lays the problem?

I cannot find a way to turn off the desktop flows.
Deleting a desktop flow also seems to not work. When i try to delete a desktop flow i get:
The process is part of a managed solution and cannot be individually deleted. Uninstall the parent solution to remove the process.

Looks like you may have dependency issues. In the solution click on the flow and check the dependencies. It will show what is blocking deletion.
The other thing to be aware of is solution layers, as these will also block deletion. Worst of all they can get stacked and need removing a layer at a time.
    As example
Import solution 1 and set environment variable
Import solution 2 which uses same environment variable. You update var and create layer (1)
Import solution 1 and update environment variable back. You create a new layer (2)

Now both solutions can not be deleted as one is blocked by layer 1 and two is blocked by layer 2. To fix it you have to reverse your steps deleting each layer one by one.

    Thank you for anwsering @wyattdave

I have only one solution in the prod environment, except for the default ones.
I see that one environment variable has two layers and a dependency that blocks this variable from being deleted is ... itself?

How do i delete one solution layer?

If i imported for the first time the solution to prod on my coworker's pc, then updated the solution from my pc, did it create two layers?

A solution layer on itself shouldn't stop it being deleted, very strange.
There is a other thing you can try. Remove the desktop flow from the dev solution, then export it as managed and import it into prod. That should remove it and you should be able to delete the solution now
As you can see lots of shoulds, dealing with solutions can be one of biggest pains in the power platform.
If anything has a dependency on the desktop flow you will need to remove that first (so re over it but not desktop flow, export import, then remove desktop, export, import)
