When a new e-mail arrives in a shared mailbox V2 - external senders

Good afternoon,
 
Is it possible when using the when a new e-mail arrives in a shared mailbox step that external senders get picked up? 
 
I am having issues with only internal senders being recognised by the flow and any messages sent from external parties are not working, this may be an internal policy issue but I am just wondering if the action in general allows external senders to be picked up or if there's anything I can do with the settings? :)

    Are you saying the flow doesn't trigger when an external sender sends an email to a shared mailbox? As I remember shared mailboxes must be setup in a specific way for external users to send mail to them. Is the mail coming from external users in the mailbox and the flow is not triggered? or is the mail not getting to the mailbox at all from external users? The later is an Exchange issue, not a Power Automate issue.

    Good morning,
     
    The mail is getting to the shared mailbox, it's just the flow is only triggering for internal senders and not triggering for external senders.

    Glad I finally found someone with the same issue.
    Using trigger When a new email arrives in a shared mailbox (V2)
    Both the Internal as the External emails arrive fine in the Shared mailbox.
     
    The mail from the internal user gets picked within the minute (as set in the flow), the mail from the external user just sits there, flow does not start or run at all so not much clues to look into.
     
    Any suggestions are very welcome.

    Hello pigsinblankets, I've replied to this request as well in beginning of this month.
    I can currently confirm this is now working for us on shared mailboxes.
     
    The issue for us was that we were not able to add the senders as 'Safe senders':
    Whatever we did, this kept coming up.  I added the sender as a Contact and even then it didn't work, not through clicking these buttons, marking them as Trusted through Settings (Outlook online).
    My colleagues from infrastructure have been in touch with Microsoft and had a week or 2 of back and forth, but Microsoft 'has flipped a switch' and it is resolved.
     
    I have no further info on what that switch is, where it is, and which direction it was flipped.
    I do hope this helps you in your search for a resolution.
