Hi,

Does anyone know how to use input variables with the create item (sharepoint) in power automate desktop?

I always get an error when using variables for the siteURL and ListName.

Please check the values that you use for the Site Address and the List Name. Try to select them from the drop-down to validate your values against it.

Thank you for the answer, I managed to connect to the list using the SiteAddress and ListName variables.

When using the drop-down I get the list columns and can input values there, but when using dynamic variables the list columns do not show up so this action only creates blank lines in the Sharepoint list.

Is there a way to populate the columns using the dynamic site and list variable method?

Based on my understanding, if your site address and list name are dynamic, I don't believe the current version of PAD supports pulling the list item as input in dynamic mode. Therefore, I would recommend using the HTTP method to accomplish the same.

The current behavior of the PAD "Create item" action functions by retrieving all items when you specify the site address and list name. Then, you need to add your values to create that item. So, when you mention those site addresses and list names as dynamic, I have doubts about whether it supports your request.
